TEHRAN -- The Iranian Artists Forum is currently playing host to a workshop program entitled “Games of Colors”.

The program, which has been underway since July 19, is being held by Iranian painter and sculptor Yasmin Sinaii for children and their mothers.

It has been organized by the Damonfar Company, the Iranian representative of France’s Pebeo and Germany’s Faber Castell, two companies that manufacture art materials.

Sinaii aims to teach children how to draw different objects using the medium of colored pencils, Damonfar Managing Director Seifollah Puya-Rad said in a press release on Wednesday.

Five pavilions have been set up in the courtyard of the forum, three of which are dedicated to children.

Mothers learn new concepts about colors and their usage at the fourth pavilion, and the fifth introduces France’s Pebeo, and Canson, a French manufacturer of fine art paper and related products.

The Iranian company launched the Damonfar Visual Arts Festival in 2006, to provide the facilities for young Iranian talents. The festival is dedicated to artists under 25 years of age.

The workshop program began on July 19 and will be running until August 18.
